F1GP-Ed is an editor/enhancer for the Amiga version of Formula One Grand Prix / World Circuit. It allows you to adjust F1GP almost completely to your satisfaction. No longer is losing concentration the greatest threat to becoming world champion. With this program you'll be really pushing yourself just to put your car near the front of the grid. Full details of what is possible are contained in the documentation.
Amiga F1GP Web Ring F1GP-Ed 3.43 is currently in development. I'm not sure when I'll have the time to finish it, but I can definitely say that it will be released before Christmas! I'm hoping to release it in November. I will fix the 'disappearing walls' syndrome (which got introduced in v3.40) properly in the next version - although 3.42 stopped the pit wall disappearing, a lot of the walls at Monaco still disappear if you get too close to them :-( Probably the new feature that you will all be looking forward to is the addition of an option to change the shape of the cars so that they look more like a 1998 F1 car (raised nose, etc), which has been one of the most popular suggestions over the past couple of years or so. If you would like to see what else F1GP-Ed 3.43 will bring, check out the current list of new features and bug fixes. Diary 27-Sep-98: 1998 Season Datafile - Updated with qualifying and race stats from today's Luxembourg GP. 30-Aug-98: New backdrops - Yet more backdrops from David Evans. Most of the pictures are from the '98 season with a few older ones from the late 80s and early 90s. This collection is split into 2 smaller archives each containing 18 pictures. 21-Jul-98: Alan Strang's 1989-97 datafiles - I'm delighted to announce that this website is now home to Alan's 1989-97 datafile collection which was previously hosted on his own site.
